Chair massage is a type of seated massage that can be anything from 10 minutes or 30 minutes long. It focuses on the back, shoulders, neck and arms. It is done over clothes and doesn’t require any massage oil. The client is seated in a special chair that has a headrest for the head and face, and supports for the knees and arms. Acupressure, massage and bodywork are then applied to stimulate the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems. It is an effective treatment that applies enough pressure for tense and tight muscles. It also addresses stress-related and repetitive stress injuries.
Companies can pay the entire cost, split it with employees or employees can pay for the chair massage themselves. For further information and costs, please contact Sinéad at firstname.lastname@example.org.
